In Blithe Hollow, a little town in the New England region, Norman seems just like any other young kid... except he can see and talk to the dead. This peculiarity is an inexhaustible source of ridicule for his family and class mates. At least, until the day the little town is invaded by ghosts and is subjected to the curse of a witch who died centuries before.
The second film to come out of the LAIKA studios after Coraline, ParaNorman is a little stop-motion gem. By taking us into this macabre world, yet by no means devoid of humour, the film talks about our fears and is aimed at both young and old alike.
