Adriaan Lokman is an experimental animation filmmaker whose first film Barcode won the Grand Prix at Annecy 2002.
It started out as just for fun but ever since he's been exploring different ways to use computer technology in combination with new storytelling: how can you tell emotionally charged stories with abstract images? He will also talk about how to use the codes of classic filmmaking to adapt them to experimental works, especially through music and sound design.
