Spike & Mike’s Sick & Twisted Animation Programme/Festival
Yet another chance to catch up with this incredible adults-only extravaganza of toons concocted by Spike!
Spike & Mike’s Festival of Animation started back in 1977 before turning into Spike & Mike’s Sick & Twisted Animation Festival, which has been regularly making its presence felt at the Annecy Festival. The pair managed to create a whole cottage industry independently producing, promoting and distributing this theatrical show.
Over the years, they have premiered great names from the business including: Andrew Stanton, John Lasseter, Pete Docter, Tim Burton, Brad Bird, Chris Wedge, Kenn Navarro, Marv Newland, Nick Park and Rich Moore from Zootopia fame, to name but a very few!
It’s a travelling show that Spike takes around the festival circuit and he’ll be with us here in Annecy once again to introduce this year’s programme… in his own inimitable style!
