In this third feature film that he has directed alone, Nick Park takes us on a journey through time. In 4,000 BC, mammoths and dinosaurs live in perfect harmony with cavemen. The tribe of Doug and Hognob, his best friend, live in step with nature. However, a threat appears which is a lot more terrifying than the biggest predators: a new era, the Bronze age! Our friends are ready to do anything in order to avoid being crushed by modernity and to preserve their era... The problem will be solved by a game of football, a sport that had just been invented.
