A Masterclass with the Composer Patrick Sigwalt

The Sacem (Société des Auteurs, Compositeurs et Éditeurs de Musique) is delighted to take part in the Annecy Festival each year. In this unmissable event, the Annecy Festival invites us to discover the diversity of work in animation, in which music plays a crucial role.

As such, the Sacem is organising a meeting with Patrick Sigwalt, a composer and general secretary of the UCMF. This masterclass is an opportunity for talking with visiting student composers about the history of film scores, the specific nature of a composer's work on different types of film and media with a focus on animation, challenges and future perspectives of film scores, and a presentation of the UCMF's collective management.

This meeting will be moderated by the composer Olivier Militon, who also teaches composition at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional d'Annecy.
