For one last time dive into the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy with an exclusive exhibition displaying over 200 works from the making of!
Twelve years of work: that’s how much time was necessary for the artistic teams at DreamWorks Animation to develop the Dragons trilogy, from the first pencil lines to the release of the last opus in February 2019. Twelve years of creative exploration and technical advances in animation, leaving behind three magnificent films and hundreds of archive works.
Great news for fans of the duo Harold/Krokmou! While the Dragons trilogy ends, another page turns and opens up into this unique universe: an exhibition "The Artistic Journey of the How to Train Your Dragon Trilogy". It is presented by DreamWorks Animation in collaboration with the Art Ludique Museum at the Manège du Haras, Annecy, following its world premiere in Paris!
It is Dean DeBlois, director of all three films, and jury member at the Annecy Festival this year, who, along with his teams and Art Ludique, carefully selected the most representative and impressive elements of the making of to expose the adventure’s hidden aspects to the general public. There are several unpublished interviews of the production team, especially created for the occasion that complete the exhibition.
