To celebrate the world premiere of Playmobil: The Movie at the Festival’s opening ceremony, your favorite toys are setting-up in Courier!
Iconic U-shaped hands, removable and interchangeable hair and straight legs, the PLAYMOBIL® figures may have a minimalist design, but it doesn’t prevent them from having great adventures, whether imagined by children of yesteryear, or today in their bedrooms, or by the Director Lino DiSalvo, who is putting them up on the big screen in the long-awaited animation feature Playmobil: The Movie.
Shown last year at the Annecy Festival in its version in progress, the finished film will be screened as the world premiere during the opening ceremony (invitation only). The general public, don’t despair! Even though you must wait until 7th August for its release in theatres, a preview shall be shown at the exhibition "That’s a Wrap!" set-up in the Centre Courier walk-through gallery.
You can start to immerse yourself in the film’s universe, discover how the teams evolved the little toys into animated characters and, more generally, learn more about the process of producing an animation film.
Adventures here we come!
