Obsessed by the memory of a lost love, a woman soothes herself contemplating the butterflies that seem to inhabit a mysterious forest. Clutched by a complex feeling of bittersweet nostalgia she joins dream and reality, fantasy and frustration, pleasure and pain. And in the belief that she is fleeing reality she confronts it full on and subconsciously prepares herself for rebirth.
