Megumi is a fifth grader living in the countryside. She has a strong sense of morals and prioritizes action as opposed to sedentary thinking. She meets Guebo, a mysterious boy, who can converse with her dog Pachi. Her classmate Shiken is also involved and begins an unexpected adventurous life.
