Claude Barras has already created many short films, mostly stop-motion creations, which have stood out at many festivals. In 2005, he made Le Génie de la boîte de raviolis which won several prizes internationally and Banquise, selected at the Cannes Festival in 2006.
To date, his first feature film, My Life As a Zucchini, has won numerous awards, two César awards, the Cristal for a Feature Film and the Audience Award at Annecy, as well as a nomination at the Golden Globes and the Oscars. He is currently working on two feature film projects.
This programme is made up of 4 short films that he directed or co-directed (most notably with Cédric Louis) and 4 others that he produced at the Hélium Films collective in Lausanne.
