A screening of three short films featuring special guests, dreams and the imagination. Two big names in the jazz and contemporary classical music scenes, Stéphan Oliva on piano and Jean-Marc Foltz on the clarinet, will decipher the score of silent movements that the delicate films of Chomón offer them.
A pioneer of special effects, animation and colouring at the beginning of the twentieth century, the director was a limitless inventive poet who wasn't afraid to experiment. That's also what the two musicians do, they prefer to allow their music to be free, to be written in improvisation according to the audience's and to their own emotions.
