For the 40th anniversary of the GOBELINS School, a collection of shorts and opening films will be presented at the Festival to pay tribute to several generations of teachers and students.
A selection of films made over forty years at GOBELINS, France’s most prestigious animation school, will be shown to celebrate this significant milestone and also recall the unique and ambitious productions of this very special Festival partner.
The programme is made up of 40 pieces of work: 12 shorts and 28 opening films, all of them exposing the graphic and writing qualities and great technical mastery of their creators. The films present both a story and many original ideas, created using techniques especially chosen to enhance the finished results.
The programme also includes work created for the Cartooning for Peace project, supervised by the cartoonist Plantu, which gave students yet another possibility to express their talent!
