Come and live an experience in 360°! An Annecy Festival exclusive, three days dedicated to virtual reality have been organised. "Rain or Shine" and "Minotaur" are on the programme of the day!
With the increasing number of virtual reality projects being created using animation, the Annecy Festival decided to present a few for festivalgoers to enjoy.
Within this selection, you might recognise a few names like Eric Darnell, Felix Massie and Munro Ferguson.
For the second Virtual Reality & Animation session, Rain or Shine and Minotaur are on the programme.
Rain or Shine follows the adventures of Ella, a little girl who loves playing outside in the sunshine. But whenever she puts her sunglasses on, it rains and she’s disheartened. This colourful 360-degree virtual reality film was created by Nexus for Google Spotlight Stories.
Minotaur, from film to virtual reality is a creation from the NFB in Canada that’s available in three different versions, it can be watched on a smartphone or with a virtual reality headset. The story follows Minotaur, an archetypal hero who takes a journey through seven stages.

The demonstrations will take place in the "salle de création" at Bonlieu, no reservation required, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
