The Annecy Festival is presenting the third chapter of the immensely popular Despicable Me saga as a world premiere on Wednesday 14th June at 8:30 pm (English version with French subtitles), before its release in French theatres on 5th July.
Back again with a seventh partnership, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures will reveal the much-awaited next installment of the adventures of Gru, Lucy Wilde and their three adopted daughters, Margo, Edith and Agnes, along with everybody’s favourites the Minions! We’re going to find out that Gru, aka the most lovable villain of all, has a twin brother called Dru, whose super sociable personality is the complete opposite of Gru’s gruff and grumpy one.
Pressured by his family and this new arrival, a brother with a shady background who is going to try and lure him back to the dark side and awaken the bad-guy that’s sleeping within, Gru has to return to the Anti-Villain league. Of course, his faithful Minions will be on hand to help out their master on this new and undoubtedly explosive escapade.
Following the global success of the first two films, directors Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda and co-director Eric Guillon are back with the promise of even more wacky adventures, set to a soundtrack featuring hits from the 2000s, including rapper Sean Paul and Blu Cantrell’s Breathe.
Don’t miss a great opportunity to meet up with the film crew for a signing session that’ll take place on Wednesday 14th June from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
