Get swept away in Benjamin Renner’s quirky countryside with the adaptation of his comic book "The Big Bad Fox".
After the success of Ernest & Celestine, Benjamin Renner is back to the big screen with the adaptation of his hit comic book The Big Bad Fox. True to the artist’s graphic style, this feature film is a sweet and funny little gem.
Longtime fans will be thrilled to find the absurd and offbeat tone that won them over from the get-go in this very close and accurate adaptation.
Those of you who thought that the countryside is a quiet and peaceful place were mistaken. It's actually full of turbulent animals; a fox who thinks it's a chicken, a bunny who tries to be a stork and a duck who wants to stand in for Santa. If you were hoping for a nice vacation, you'd better keep moving.
Otherwise, come and meet a fox who’s a bit thick, but sweet as pie. Insecure about his inability to fulfil his primary role – hunting chickens – the fox devises a genius plan to steal eggs and wait for them to hatch before eating them. But he forgets about one tiny detail… he’s a big softie and the little chicks are just too cute.
Full of laughs and feel-good moments, The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales would be a great family outing.
The film was produced by Folivari and will be released in French theatres on 21st June, 2017.
