Blue Sky Studios celebrates all the losers in the world with The Peanuts Movie, where tender-hearted Charlie Brown takes on any challenge in the name of love.
After revealing the trade secrets in 2015 during a Work in Progress session with director Steve Martino and artistic director Nash Dunnigan, The Peanuts Movie (produced by Blue Sky Studios) is back in Annecy with the finished product for an open-air screening.
The creators of Ice Age invite you to meet up with Snoopy, Charlie Brown and Lucy in a fantastic adventure based on Charles Schulz’s beloved Peanuts comic strip.
Known for his endless blunders and failures, sweet Charlie Brown decides to take on his biggest challenge yet: winning over the heart of a cute new redheaded classmate. Too shy to talk to her, Charlie comes up with an ingenious plan to get her to notice him, with the unwavering support of Snoopy, his loyal companion with a vivid imagination. Snoopy also goes on an adventure of his own, in the sky where he pursues his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron.
The Festival expects a big crowd to come and enjoy this charmingly poetic tale that’s a vibrant tribute to Schultz’s minimalist style for the 65th anniversary of his comic strip.
