The Japanese director Satoshi Kon, an animation genius and Festival regular, passed away in 2010 and was honoured in a tribute at Annecy in the same year.
During this film, immerse yourself in the history of Millenium Actress and follow two journalists who are on the hunt for an interview with the famous Chiyoko Fujiwara. A former star of Japanese cinema, and retired from the profession for many years, she will tell them the story of the century, about war and a part of her personal destiny.
