Focus Residencies

The residencies aim to provide authors with a setting conducive to advancing, exploring and refining their film project: their ideas, script, or visual research.

The residencies’ collective (led by NEF Animation since 2017) brings together, on a national and international scale, structures that have residencies for animation creation.

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival is a regular event where the collective have open discussions. This year, the "Focus Residencies" are expanding their circle by giving the floor to "newcomers" who will present recently created residency schemes. Alongside them will of course be the artists to share their respective experiences.
