Do you love film soundtracks? Come and listen to the Union Musicale de Cran-Gevrier (UMC) orchestra play!
Created in 1895, the Union Musicale de Cran-Gevrier (UMC), formerly known as the Lyre Industrielle, is the oldest association in the Cran-Gevrier municipality.
Harmony is a wind orchestra that groups together instruments from the woodwind family, brass family, and percussion. It has around forty amateur musicians and performs at commemorative and cultural events, as well as concerts, alone or in collaboration with other associative and cultural entities.
Their repertoire is varied, ranging from compositions for a wind band, through a classical style and film scores.
Since 2019, Édouard Jannin has been directing the UMC.
