Lastman is a mini revolution in the animation world. The adaptation of the eponymous comic book by three authors Balak, Michaël Sanlaville and Bastien Vivès, Lastman is the first French animated series for adults. Heralded best comic book by the Angoulême Festival in 2015, the work is a genuine phenomenon that was just waiting to be adapted to the screen.
In 2016, the first season of Lastman was presented as a Work in Progress at the Annecy Festival and an episode was in competition in the TV Films category.
The first season has 26 X 12-minute episodes, and the series returns with a new season entitled Lastman Heroes this time with 6 X 45-minute episodes. Director Jérémie Horau succeeds Jérémie Périn for this new season which focuses on the story of its main characters.
