The Opening Ceremony
The countdown is on! The Annecy Festival’s Opening Ceremony promises to be momentous with the premiere screening of Sirocco and the Kingdom of Air Streams. Get ready to enjoy a real Festival treat because we have a special surprise in store for you!
As well as kicking off the celebrations, Sirocco and the Kingdom of Air Streams, directed by Benoît Chieux, is in the Official Selection!
Two sisters, 4-year-old Juliette and 8-year-old Carmen, discover a passage between their world and a book’s, The Kingdom of Air Streams. To come back they need to find Sirocco, a terrifying character who can control the wind.
But that’s not all! A brand-new short film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, directed by Trent Correy and Dan Abraham, will be screened during the Opening Ceremony.
