The WIA World Summit is about educating the audience about issues facing people of underrepresented gender identities in the art, technology, production and business of animation.
The WIA World Summit at Annecy is a day-long symposium spotlighting creatives and top executives from around the world who will explore this year's theme "Breakthe Box – Redefining Gender and Leadership".
The program’s sessions will explore what can happen when we break away from gendered norms to reimagine who can be successful and what makes an effective industry leader.

This educational session led by GLAAD unpacks the language and universal assumptions of gender, the ways we’re all impacted by those assumptions and how we can move closer to the reality of gender justice in our global industry.
