International Mifa Campus – Andean Countries

As part of its programme to promote visual arts education and creative animation in the Andean countries (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela), Mifa is putting its network and expertise to good use to support new talent at three International Mifa Campus events in South America.

The three events:

28^th to 31^st October 2024, in La Paz – Bolivia

The purpose of these workshops is to assist participants in their professional projects, to help them adopt a structural approach and to assist local authorities in the Andes in building up strong, complementary skills. Through case studies and feedback, as well as an overview of the audiovisual and film sectors in the various countries involved, these workshops aim to create a powerful and mutually supportive regional momentum for all the participants.

The 18 selected talents will also be invited to take part in the International Animation Film Market in June to put what they have learnt into practice and find future partners during the Meet the... Sales Agents; Meet the... Buyers; and Partners Pitch sessions.

This programme enjoys the support of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs through a "Fonds Équipe France" and the organisation of the audiovisual cooperation teams for the Andean countries of the French Embassy in Colombia.
