Special Annecy "Court-circuit" on ARTE

ARTE, the European cultural channel, as partner of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival is devoting one of its "Court-circuit" programmes to animation for the Annecy Festival, from 9th to 15th June.

This year, the programme will broadcast 4 short films in the Official competition:

• Mont Noir by Jean-Baptiste Peltier and Erika Haglund (France, Portugal – 2024 – 15 min)
• Butterfly by Florence Miailhe (France – 2024 – 15 min)
• La Voix des Sirènes by Gianluigi Toccafondo (France, Italy – 2024 – 20 min)
• Circle by Yumi Joung (South Korea – 2024 – 7 min)

They will also be broadcasting Short Cuts by Shih-Yen Huang, which is a one-minute animated retelling of Claude Miller’s crime thriller Deadly Circuit, see it on ARTE on Monday 10^th June at 8:55 pm. As well as, The Crossing by Florence Miailhe, which won a Jury Distinction for a feature film at the Annecy Festival in 2021, broadcast on Friday 14^th June at midnight.
