CITIA reveals the 6 pupils who will have the privilege and responsibility of awarding 2 short films at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
Congratulations to Binta Bah, Joseph Peytavin and Clara Pallanchard, year 6 pupils from Novel primary school, as well as Annaëlle Bismuth Houdard, Gabin Lebon and Romane Pallud Mazza, Evire secondary school pupils.
Congratulations because they weren’t picked out of a hat, they were chosen because they really "stood out" during the sessions they attended on film analysis, programming and debate.
CITIA supported Novel’s secondary school throughout the year as part of the City of Annecy’s cultural and artistic education initiative (EAC), and the pupils in Evire’s primary school are following a special cinema cursus (CHAC), supported by CITIA, who devoted some of this time to animation film.
Now, it’s up to them!
As an official jury, they must watch and debate on the films from the Young Audiences' programme until they reach a consensus for the 2 award-winners!
Accompanied by Aurélia Bachelet-Caton (CITIA relay-professor), our happy winners will experience the Festival in VIP mode and have the most extraordinary time!
As the suspense mounts, see you on 14th June at the Special Prizes Ceremony where we will finally find out which ones came out on top!
