This year, more than 700 project leaders from across the world apply to the Mifa Pitches with the aim of presenting their project to a professional audience at Annecy who are searching for original content.A tough selection process in all the categories usually gives about 40 projects their opportunity. You can see them each year at the Mifa during the 4 Pitch sessions, specific to each format.An exclusive myriad of the current creations to allow you to be the first to position yourself on tomorrow’s projects!

The Annecy Festival Residency will hold its 4th edition from 5th April to 28th June 2024 and host 3 new artists in the Papeteries – Image Factory to work on the visual identity of their animation feature films.
In 2023, Mexican animation will be in the spotlight, and we entrusted the Annecy Festival’s official poster design to Animator and Director Jorge R. Gutierrez, who will also be one of our jury members. An aficionado of Mexican culture and folklore, he has created a genuine joyous and heart-warming firework display of references announcing a very colourful edition!
