During the Animasyros International Animation Festival in Greece, Annecy Festival organised a new International Mifa Campus – Talents workshop.
From 25th to 28th September this year, the Animasyros International Animation Festival took place on Syros Island at the heart of the Cyclades in Greece. With the support of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Institute français, the Annecy International Animation Film Market organised a International Mifa Campus – Talents workshop, exporting its skills and experience to develop the creative and artistic aspects of the selected projects.
On-site, five project leaders benefited from this support from five Mediterranean countries: Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Egypt and Morocco.

- Jihane Joypaul (Morocco) – Harun & Mamun – short film
- Islam Mazhar & Ahmad Abdelhameed (Egypt) – Kamaroza – feature film
- Günef Bozkurt (Turkey) – The Witch of the Mountain – TV series
Join us next June in Annecy, where the workshop participants will be invited to present their animation projects during the Mifa at a special Partners Pitch.
This workshop is part of a collaboration between the Annecy International Film Festival and Animasyros that aims to support and showcase Mediterranean animation at the Mifa. New workshops will be organised in 2025 with the same aim.
