Annecy Festival has some exciting surprises in store for this year’s participants! While Marcel Jean, the Festival’s Artistic Director, had already announced a host of exceptional and exclusive content at the press conference in April, 2 new Screening Events and 2 Making of join the line-up.

Legendary Couturier Jean Paul Gaultier breaks into the world of animation film with nWave Studios & Octopolis. At the Festival, he will reveal the very first secrets about the film in a preview accompanied by the creative and production teams. The film is scheduled for release in 2027.

Adult Swim will screen the entire first episode of the eagerly-awaited new series Common Side Effects exclusively at Annecy. Following the world premiere screening, co-creators Joe Bennett (Scavengers Reign) and Steve Hely (Veep, American Dad!, The Office), will join Adult Swim President Michael Ouweleen, Head of Original Comedy & Adult Animation Suzanna Makkos and Bandera Entertainment President Dustin Davis, for an in-depth conversation and Q&A about this special new series.
